I have followed your reviews a couple of times and been very happy indeed with the results. So desite the fact that I live in Paris (and have done for some time) I'm interested to know where you would recommend for a Saturday night meal with a respected UK wine journalist and spouse?

I think your English friends would be interested by the list at chef William Ledeuil's new KGB, which I reviewed here the other day (especially if the spouse writes on restaurants!) Otherwise, La Bigarrade, Yam'tcha or Frenchie, all of which I've reviewed on this site. I'd call soon for a reservation, though, since all of these places are very, very popular. Best, Alec

Thanks very much! I did actually go to Yam'tcha after reading the review here and I LOVED it (thankfully I had the time to spare that day...) Have since been back and loved it again...
