Readers Forum > Saturday Night Dinner in Montmartre
Dear Emily,
I'd go to Cheri Bibi, a very good bistro that I've reviewed in Hungry for Paris, and also maybe La Bigarrade and Chamaree, both of which are reviewed on this site in DINER'S JOURNAL. Chamaree is a very different and off-beat sort of place--the cooking is inspired by the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius, and I think it's delicious. Another nice little bistro is LE BISTROT POULBOT, 39 rue Lamarck, 18th, Tel. 01-46-06-86-00; it does very good and reasonably priced traditional French bistro cooking.
Best, Alec

My husband and I will arrive in Paris on Saturday in October and will be staying in Montmartre for three nights before continuing our trip. Where would you recommend for a decently priced authentic meal?
