Can you please recommend a reasonably priced place for dinner on a Sunday night? I will be visiting Paris in October for my birthday and would like to have a nice celebratory meal without spending a fortune! I'm having difficulty finding places that will be open.

There's an index of restaurants open on Sunday in HUNGRY FOR PARIS, among which I especially like Christophe, a wonderful little bistro in the 5th arrondissement. Best, Alec

L'Ardoise is a well-priced bistro near the Place Vendome with a fixed price menu EUR34 for 3 courses of delicious food. Not much in the way of atmosphere but it is open on Sunday evenings!
