Readers Forum > Taking out newlywed friends in Paris (tomorrow)
Congratulations to the newly weds!
If you want a traditional bistro with reasonable prices, I'd suggest the Auberge Pyrenees Cevennes, which is in Hungry for Paris.
If you want an excellent modern French bistro, try Le Pamphlet, also in Hungry for Paris.
And finally, if you want some place hip and young and good, try Frenchie, which I reviewed on this site a couple of weeks ago. They also serve outdoors--request a sidewalk table, which is nice in this heat.
Best, Alec

Hi,
I'm looking to take out some friends in Paris tomorrow, for a celebratory dinner after their wedding. Looking for something authentic and unpretentious (while good ambiance is key, they are not impressed by outward appearances) and reasonably-priced (I'm a student and unfortunately have a budgetary consideration). I'm thinking French.
Any recommendations are much appreciated. Thanks.
